The annual Bayfield Community Fair is happening this weekend, August 16-18 at the Bayfield Arena and Agricultural Park.
This year’s theme is “Farms, Food & Family” 🚜🌽👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 and there will be something for everyone including a parade, fireworks, homecraft exhibits, children's entertainment, food trucks, 4-H dairy and sheep competitions, a Rock Revival concert and so much more!

The County of Huron is working with The Foodies Group on a new agritourism product that promotes the exceptional agricultural products grown and produced on Ontario’s West Coast. We will be holding two online information sessions on July 24 to share information and the vision for this new tourism product for interested agritourism businesses located in Huron.
Online Information Sessions:
a) Wednesday, July 24 at 12 noon
b) Wednesday, July 24 at 5:00 pm

Both sessions will be online only.

Huron County is once again excited to be partnering with Ontario By Bike to promote the cycling opportunities available on Ontario’s West Coast. This year we invited Ontario by Bike staff to spend a coupe of days cycling the Huron section of the Goderich to Guelph Rail Trail. Along with cycling the trail, they took some time to discover and explore what the communities of Goderich and Blyth offered to cyclists and visitors. Town of Goderich Canada Day Fireworks Cancelled

We have just had a meeting with our fireworks crew and due to the changing weather and rough water, we have had to cancel the 2024 Canada Day Fireworks for tonight, Sunday, June 30. The company is booked elsewhere (usually a year in advance) for tomorrow and the rest of the week, so there is not an option to have the fireworks tomorrow. Hopefully we will have great weather next year and can have them back in 2025.

UPDATE on the Huron Multicultural Festival 📣
🌧️NEW TIME AND LOCATION
Due to the weather we are going to move performances inside to the Livery at 35 South Street, Goderich. Performances will begin at 1:00 p.m.. Should the weather clear, we will move back onto the performance stage at Courthouse Park. We have some incredible performers and amazing food vendors (takeout available) so please join us at the Livery or The Square in Goderich.

Friday an electrifying performance by renowned artists Digging Roots, winners of the 2023 Canadian JUNO Award for Contemporary Indigenous Group of the Year. Opening for Digging Roots is Drives the Common Man, a Mi’kmaq singer, songwriter, and producer/composer out of southern Ontario.
A vibrant celebration of diversity and culture continues on Saturday, in Courthouse Park with a diverse array of free activities for attendees of all ages.
