Huron County Museum welcomes Navigating Menopause, a ground-breaking seminar on women’s health

Huron County, Ontario – Break the silence on this important phase of life by joining the Huron County Museum for Navigating Menopause, an engaging and informative evening that will help women learn how to thrive through this time in their lives.

The Museum is pleased to partner with Judy Gardiner, Menopause Society Certified Provider, and Kelly McIntosh, MGM of the Stratford Perth Museum, to bring their popular educational seminar to Huron County on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for this ground-breaking seminar.

This ticketed event includes:

  • A History of Menopause Exhibit that explores how women’s health has been managed through history.
  • A brief seminar featuring McIntosh to help understand how midlife women’s health has been viewed across cultures, why it has not historically received adequate attention or research, and Huron County’s role in this history.
  • A seminar by Gardiner to help women/partners/healthcare providers understand perimenopause and menopause, how to advocate for themselves, how to navigate misinformation and disinformation, lifestyle, non-hormonal and menopause hormone therapy approaches to care, and how to thrive in the next half of life.
  • A safe, information Q&A session to answer specific questions (no medical advice)
  • Cash bar by Cowbell Brewing Co., snacks, music, a curated book list on all things perimenopause and beyond.
