Is this place haunted? Decide for yourself! A rare chance to visitthe HuronHistoric Gaol after dark!

This guided tour shines a flashlight into the dark corners of localhistory. Staff share the true stories of the prisoners and staff who diedinside the gaol’s walls, as well as the circumstances that landedcriminals, vagrants and ‘lunatics’ behind bars. Hear about local truecrime and alleged ghost encounters, and what happened to inmates afterdeath. Includes free exploration at the end of your tour and theopportunity to use the gaol’s spirit board. Explore over 100 years ofHuron County history with some of the tragic and sometimes strange tales ofthe men, women and children who lived and died at this national historicsite.

Spots on these guided tours are verylimited because of space restrictions! Recommended for ages 12 and up atparents’ discretion. Subject matter may not be appropriate forall ages. Please note that some areas of the gaol require stairsand there is no elevator on site.
