Huron County Museum & Historic Gaol - Admission by Donation
Celebrate International Museum Day with a visit to the Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol. Explore our own local National Historic Site and investigate our local Museum history displayed with both permanent and temporary exhibits. Learn about past prisoners at the Historic Gaol, make a craft at the Museum, and enter a draw for an annual family membership so you can visit as many times as you want for the next year.

Filmed by the late Rev. LeRoy H. Massecar (1918-2003) these vintage black and white movies feature rare footage from rural 1940's Ontario. Travel back in time with us as we view the Stars of the Town from various communities in Huron County.

Huron Historic Gaol - Special Admission Rate
Special evening tours. Go Behind the Bars and meet some of our Faces of Gaol on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Huron Historic Gaol. Experience the history as you explore and learn about life at the Gaol between 1841 and 1911. This interactive event provides visitors with the opportunity to explore this National Historic Site while meeting historical figures from the Gaol's past. Tour the Gaol and Governor's House to learn more about the men, women & children who lived and worked behind the bars.

Discover and remember Huron County's contribution to the war efforts.
