Accessibility
The Huron County Museum is accessible to physically disabled patrons. Only the main floor of the Huron Historic Gaol is wheel chair accessible.
A wheel chair and stroller are available for use by visitors to the Huron County Museum. Inquire at the Reception Desk.
Facility Rentals
The Huron County Museum has two facilities available for rent. Both venues are climate controlled environments that are kept at ideal temperatures throughout the year.
 Theatre
Conveniently located directly off the Main Lobby the theatre has fixed seating for 56 and can accommodate up to 70 people by adding additional chairs. A VHS Video/DVD player and LCD projector is available for showing films or computer presentations onto the large screen provided.
 Lounge
The lounge is conveniently located on the second floor of the Huron County Museum adjacent to washroom facilities and elevator access. This well-lit flexible facility can be set up in a variety of ways including boardroom or theatre styles. Up to 25 people can be comfortably accommodated. Access to an in-room kitchenette, with a sink and bar refrigerator is included.
Rental facilities are available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM (subject to staff availability).
Facilities may be viewed during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For further information or to inquire about bookings please call 519.524.2686.
