A Message From
Dr. Nancy Cameron
Medical Officer of Health

Welcome to Spring!

This is an important time of year to get your well water tested. Spring thaws can bring contaminants into your well water. Learn how to sample your drinking water on our Be Well Informed web pages.

Thinking of getting a tattoo or piercing? Make sure it's done safely. You have the right to expect clean, safe services when having body piercing or tattoos. Anytime the skin is pierced or tattooed, bacteria and viruses can easily enter the body, so use an established business that makes hygiene and sterilization of equipment a priority. Check out our Safe Body Art factsheet.

Enjoy the warmer weather as we head towards a beautiful Huron County summer.
